Tradies Who Talk is a psychotherapy practice run by Nathanael Hunter. Nathanael was a tradesman for twenty years. He completed two trades, Baker Pastrycook, and Electrical Linesman. He has also worked in metal fabrication, stonemasonry, construction and education.
He has always been fascinated by psychology and the human mind, and has worked extensively in the field of men’s and boys work, running men’s circles and camps for fathers and sons. He is concerned about options for men’s mental health, especially those men who find access difficult because of the shame, jargon and general bullshit that surrounds mental health.
There is nothing magical about therapy. Tradies Who Talk is about two blokes having a meaningful conversation together to try and get more out of life. That’s all it is, but within that simple formula, lives can change, deeply and permanently.
